The Sunriver Murders, the fifth book in the Northwest Murder Mystery series, was published on June 18, 2024, and was very favorably reviewed in the June issue of Cascade A&E.
On June 27, 2024, Ted presented the Northwest Murder Mystery series to an enthusiastic audience at Paulina Springs Books. Note that the presentation competed with a widely-watched presidential debate and was better received.
On December 9, 2023, Ted Haynes presented, in conjunction with Sunriver Books, a pictorial tour of the settings in his four central Oregon mysteries and gave a snapshot of each book. Click here.
In March 2023, Ted participated in a panel on crime writing with Craig Johnson (author of the Longmire series), Frank Zafiro (River City Series), and Karen Spears Zacharias (Mother of Rain). Sponsored by the Central Oregon Writers Guild, a recording of the panel (which starts about eleven minutes into the recording) can be found here.
A short story by Ted, called Ghosts, was included in the Central Oregon Writers Guild 2022 Literary Collection, which can be ordered here. A memoir of Ted's time in Uganda, See No Evil, was published in the 2023 collection.
Ted's newest book in the Northwest Murder Mystery series, Pole Pedal Murder, was published in June 2022 to excellent reviews in the Bulletin and in Cascade A&E.

Ted Haynes presented Suspects at the 2017 Pacific Northwest Booksellers Trade Show in Portland.

On August 25, 2018, at the High Desert Rendezvous, the High Desert Museum auctioned off a rare visit to the private Vandevert Ranch and a presentation on the history of this pioneer ranch by Ted Haynes, lead author of Vandevert - The Hundred Year History of a Central Oregon Ranch.
